I try to install sme 6.0.1 from floppy (extracted from boot.img), since this pc does not support autoboot from cdrom. During the start of the installation the boot proces is interrupted with the error: "cannot find ks.cfg on boot floppy" and "the file /tmp/ks.cfg does not exist". I also tried booting with a netboot.img installation diskette but the errors are the same.
The pc is a Dell Optiplex GXi 5200L with 64mb ram and a 2Gb maxtor ide harddisk. i've added an aopen 40x atapi cd-rom which is accessible from dos.

nb i've read the comments on the other optiplex/ks.cfg problems but a cannot make any cheese of that (as they say here)

ok solved it
After reading a post that the ks.cfg file seemed to be forgotten in the image i started my (windows  ) pc with kanotix and copied ks_stub.cfg from the sme-cd to the rootdirectory of the sme-boot-diskette and renamed it ks.cfg. The installation on the dellpc is now running without a glitch.....
