Title: How to erase tapes?

I have a SCSI tape drive installed on my sme 6.01 server and was wondering how I can erase some on the tapes?  Are there command line commands that I can use to do this ?

A search on flexbackup found this immediately.

That's way I posted the question, my search of the forums didn't turn up the document you suggested.
