Title: Error with uploading

I'm trying to rebuild my server and have come up against this problem when trying to upload files to the site...

Problem: Could not move file into directory, please go back and try again.

I've checked the directory path and it's OK.

The same code works on another site on the same server.  The site i'm getting the error with is the Primary site, another site linked to an ibay works OK.

Directory permissions appear to be exactly the same

I have tried pointing the non working path to the working ibay and that didn't work either :(

Any hints?  I'm getting desparate ....

How are you trying to upload the data ? Via Samba/Network Neighbourhood ?

A safe bet would be to tar (or zip) the data and move it onto the new server using scp. Then unpack it in place.
