Title: Multiple SCSI drives
Post by: Henry on September 30, 2001, 10:30:59 PM
I understand how to mount several IDE drives, but I'm moving to SCSI drives and have 2x4.8gb and a 18gb drive I want to use in the e-smith box (file, application, mail, web, print server for small network <10 workstaions).
Do I mount them the same way as IDE drives and send various folders to them, like ibays and user folders?
Or does e-smith deal with SCSI stuff differently?

TIA

Henry

Assuming the system sees them (which it should if your host adapter is supported), it would be about the same, except that it would be /dev/sda instead of /dev/hda.

That's what I thought, but have no experience w/SCSI stuff.

Tnx
