Title: A new Forum : Basis for new webmasters
Post by: Quadrax on January 08, 2005, 11:53:31 PM
Hi,

I suggere to create a dedicated forum about basic help for beginner webmasters.

This post is motivated by my need to use MySQL but, I can not found help how to create a MySQL table but I can found some help how to use an existing table.

I'm beginner with SME (and Linux too) and PHP - MySQL couple for webpages...

Thanks by advance for your responses.

Good Night !

Hi Quadrax,

it would be impossible to create forums for every specialty out there. But you can ask questions in the general forum. But do keep in mind contribs.org is a very specific site dealing with it's own distro. The net has MANY sites and info regarding LAMP in general.

Hi RequestedDeletion,

Yes, what I can found about webmastering on the Internet but, my questions was about "How to start with SME ?".

MAy be, if this suggestion become usefull, I hope to have things to tell(say?) about but, actually, I'm starting then, I need this type of help.

So, if everybody can help me about, I'll put some "howtos" wich helps me on my own web site on my own SME server.

Just a question : What is L.A.M.P. ?

Sorry, I'm very very tired tonight, may be I said somme stupidities.

 :-?
