I want to install phpbb 2.0.11 on my e-smith 6.01 server. Do I follow Dan Brown's instructions for phpbb installation on 5.6 (http://www.familybrown.org/howtos/phpbb2-howto.html) or do I follow a different set of instructions?

I have used Dan's guide for use on 6.01 without issue, it's vey straightforward.

Ok, completed the setup of mysql, got the phpbb files moved to the server into /opt and ran the instructions thru restarting httpd and can see the files on www.mydomain.com/phpBB2.
From a workstation's browser, I try to run the install.php from the /phpBB2/install and I get a message that it doesn't know an associated program for php.
Should I be running the install.php from a workstation's browser on the same segment as e-smith, or is there a way to execute it from the e-smith server itself?

Used the text based lynx browser on e-smith to access the install.php but it doesn't seem to want to run the install.php. Looking to verify that php scripting is running correctly as well as reviewing the file created with pico in the dan brown process.
Anyone have any tips on what to look for or how to test that php is running?

Found I had a typo in the 93phpBB file. Fixed the typo and everything worked for running the install.php from a workstation browser.
