Title: Qmail problem ... large e-mail

Hello all,

I have a small problem where someone has tried to e-mail a 45 meg e-mail.

My question is how can I delete the mail in question the fast way and not wait for the whole page to display in the qmail queue managment panel, the e-mail takes so long to come up.

Hi Tib,

  I had a problem like this yesterday.  Some malicious virus started sending 2.9MB files to two of my users.  Pretty soon they could not pop their email boxes because their email clients would time out.

  I had them use webmail to solve this.  It only grabs the name and file sizes... not the full message.  It will only grab the full message when you try to open it.

  You may also pe able to use the onld email program pine.  It works the same way... but I'm not sure SME will let you su (switch users) unless you enable your users to the command line.
