Post by: bluefire on January 23, 2005, 09:11:59 PM
That's the message I got from a firewalltest on my SME server 6.0.1-01!
What can I do to fix this??  :-?

I did the basic firewalltest at www.auditmypc.com

I have no idea what to do about it! I'm a Windows-guy...

It's just a typical FUD ruse to get you to install something of dubious value (in this case http://www.patch-management-software.com/).
He's running a bit of javascript in your browser to report the internal IP address.  It's basically harmless & the informotion is of no real value anyway...

he is running via a windows server using asp scripts and an appropriately placed java script ip sniffer!

Nothing to worry about!

But be cautious of sites such as this one, that say your pc needs to be patched or some shite like that!

They just want to install some spyware on your pc and sell your details to some penis enlargement company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2 cents worth.

Cheers  :pint:
