I've got two IDE HDDs running with the SME raid 1 setup and just installed raidmonitor. I did my daily log check and noticed this:

This also seems to happen on bootup. Does it mean that one of the hard disks is having problems or what?

where did you get raidmonitor?

where did you get raidmonitor?

from the contribs link on this website.
i think i remember seeing the same messages on bootup, though, and theyve just repeated because raidmonitor reinitialises the array or something when you install it...

I have raidmonitor installed from a contrib. Where are you going to read the logs for it? I looked in the server manager panel under "View log files" and didn't see anything listed there for it.

the log exert i posted isn't from a raidmonitor log, it's from /var/log/messages. and i've looked and do get similar messages on bootup, yet running lsraid shows that both drives are part of the raid array and appear to be ok, which is odd (and a bit worrying) when the kernel is reporting insmod errors...
