hi,
since (at least) 6.0.1 the shares section in smb.conf is completley dynamically created so the old tricks to hide the primary share don't work anymore.
is there a solution to hide the primary share from network neighborhood?

Adding a template fragment in
/etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/smb.conf
with
browseable = no does not work?

no, because there is no "60primary" fragment anymore, the primary i-bay is smb-shared like any other i-bay..
