Hello ,
I setup a SME 6.0.1-01 as a firewall/gateway and deletegate the mail to a domino mail server at intranet , and I already upgrade as smeplus.sh script.
But the cpu useage very high when I start the spam service . I use a P4 2.4GA with 1G memory , the cpu will loading is always 100% .Can anyone help me ??

Besides the fact that the 100% issue is not a fun thing, please keep in mind that YOU yourself are responsible for ANY modifications you make to the base distro.
Maybe the creators of the 'plus' script can jump in here for you?

I have seen this several times with diffrent solutions. Check ps -AH for time consuming or defunct processes: sometimes there are defunct .pyzor processes, which you only can stop with kill -9. Rebooting or restarting spamasssin, qmail, clamd, httpd might also help. Rebooting is your last resort.

I never modify the " plus" script . I find that the spam service has a loop when checking the spam mail , and use many many resources... help !!!

What RequestedDeletion meant is that by using the "update" script you have added quite a few layers of complexity. The update script is an addon and is not supported by contribs.org.
What "I" would do in your case for right now is to enter the following at a cmd line:
# killall -9 perl5.6.1
# killall -9 spamd
Remember that any time that you modify a base install you should be prepared to deal with unexpected results.
