Title: how to make the user account available through internet
Post by: Eric on October 08, 2001, 12:10:03 AM
Hello,

I am a new user of Linux and E-smith (that is a lot for me). Things are
working ok except one thing. I don't understand how to make the user account
available through a web browser.

The Url is something like http://mydomain/~useraccount but there is a "403
error" access denied. I don't know what to do ! to make this available.

Thanks for help.

The simple answer is that e-smith doesn't support this.  Apache certainly does, but it would involve some changes to the apache configuration.  There isn't currently a contributed howto for this, but if you figure out, I'm sure that a write-up would be appreciated.
