Title: Question on V6.5B2
Post by: gatox on January 31, 2005, 08:56:25 PM
With the new version soon down the road, SME v6.5 will be at which level of RH ?  7.3+, 8 or 9 ?

Many new RAID cards either SATA/EIDE/SCSI support only RH9 and up (some RH8).

Let me know.

Why is the "new" version of SME staying at RH7.3 and not move on like the others ?

Especially staying with EXT3 and not using ReiserFS or JFS as a file system.

Just my 2 cents.

What others?

Answer is a lack of developers/lack of funding.

What problems do you have with ext3? I see nothing in the bug tracker, so nobody has reported any problems at all with ext3.
