Title: Global E-Mail Address system
Post by: ki11er on February 10, 2005, 05:49:17 AM
Hi All...

MS Exchange has a system where you can e-mail a group of people using a global e-mail address system.

When an e-mail is sent to the group (someaddress@some.domain.something) the e-mail server generates individual e-mail messages for everyone in the group (ie: the TO field says something like "Undisclosed" and hides who received the e-mail.

Is there a way to do this with SME Server 6.0.1?

Thanks

For internal users just create a group in the server manager and then add users to the group then you can email the groupname@internaldomain.com

You can also install the mailman mailing list software.
