Title: Does SME Server have web content filtering?
Post by: junrau on February 10, 2005, 11:35:55 PM
I have SME Server set up as the proxy server for the computers on my network.  Does it have functionality built-in to filter content?  For example, block URLs or webpages with profanity in them?

Thanks.

Sort of,

Stephen Noble at duncog.net created a dansguardian module that you can add.  I believe this is a nominal charge.

I'm going to confess... I have loaded it, but not taken the time to fiddle with it yet.

  Hope this helps. :-)
