Title: blocking everything in-out but web and email access
Post by: Franco on February 11, 2005, 04:37:15 AM
P2P is killing me, I'm trying to block access using the masq-manager contrib but the friggin apps keep morphing in different ports. What are the suggestions for blocking such behaviors?
Thanks,

what we did in the school i work at, is install a firewall on the LAN facing network card, and only open (in our case) port 80 and 21 access. Its not the neatist way of doing it, but it works :)

(Unfortuntly we aint allowed to use Linux in the school else i would give you our config - sorry)
