Title: newbie install

Just burned cd of server 6.01. but it says there is an error in the build and stops. I am compleatly new to linux is there a way to correct my file without downloading complete image again

Hi and welcome!

Please verify the MD5 checksum of your download and maybe burn it again. Maybe the quality of your CD-R is not that good after all ;-)

Ihave tried to download the 6.0 from contribs download page and after 14hours it was unable to complete the download  :-( but I have installed sme version 5.12 which was given to me.Big question is can I get drivers for hp deskjet 960c and hp laserjet 1200 sorry to be a trouble but I have only used windows systems before.
