Title: Clam has been updated to 0.83
Post by: Knuddi on February 14, 2005, 01:36:09 PM
All,

ClamAv.net has yet again updated due to many false positives of MS05-002.

The install/upgrade script has been updated.

[root@e-smith]# wget -N http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/downloads/AntiVirus/antivirus_install.sh

[root@e-smith]# sh antivirus_install.sh

It was only this morning that I realised that we were still running v0.65! I didn't actually know about your script until I had broken everything trying to compile it myself. Then I looked here, and it just worked.

Many thanks.

Hmm, I d/l'd the latest script and on execution found a coupla bugs due to missing quotes on some comments throwing the syntax out at the end of the script.

I have updated it and sent it to Jesper.

Might pay to verify your installs completed everything!

.. for example:

if [ -e /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/amavis-qmail.pat ]
then
echo Amavis-ng Already patched  <--- line 294
else

Its these damn quotes that get me when I write my scripts :-(

Oops !
The install simply went too fast for me to catch on to any glitches.
No matter - I'll reinstall tonight after reconfiguring server on new drives.
