Title: Question About Log Files

I would like to know if there is some way to reset/clear the log files that are accessed via the server-manager from within the server-manager.
 Also has anyone made or been working on a global search and filter script that would allow viewing of data from multiple log files matching a specific query?

Hi Mike,

Log file clearing is under control of the logrotate programme. It's probably best left like that unless you REALLY need it. You can always change the logrotate settings (see /etc/logrotate.conf).
I haven't heard of the multiple log file search you're looking for but haven't found a reason for it either :-D
