Hi,
Im sorry for my question, but im a newbie with SME, i just want to know if its possible to access our mailboxes, in the ISP Server, through SME, using POP3 and SMTP.
Do i need some kind a socks proxy or SME can do it, delivering the mail to the Outlook accounts in the pc's ?

Do a search for fetchmail. I think this is what you are looking for. I have never used it, but remember seeing it being discussed before.

I have been reading this thread, becuause I need to set up an email server in a remote location with a slow dynamic-IP connection.
I plan to use Fetchmail for collecting email from my server, but I need a way to deliver the emails from the remote location.
I was planning to use my SME server as a relay server. Is this possible? Is this possible to setup some kind of SMTP Authentication on my SME Server, so the relay server can become a smtp authenticated relay server....
What I think is possible?
PS: I found this line in the 6.5RC1 features list, does it have to do with it?
"" b) Integrate smtp-auth allowing external relay with auth ""
