Title: Jabber Help
Post by: dswillia on March 16, 2005, 02:11:38 AM
Need a little help if anyone is familiar with the jabber rpm e-smith-jabber-IM-0.0.1-5.noarch.rpm.  I have installed it and after some hacking got it to run the jabber server fine.  However when using the server-manager panel to create users, it seems to be messing up the hash for the 'user'.xml file.  Clients cannot connect, I keep getting a authentication error.  However if i use the jabber client to create an account, it all works fine.  I would really like the features of the server manager if possible.  If someone has had the past experience or has time to look at it, I am at my whits end with it.

Regards

/bump

Sorry to sound impatient, I just have this gut feeling that it is something easy that I am just missing.  I personally feel that if SME would provide a SSL Chat Server that it would tie in nicely with Asterisk and OpenXchange for a small business communication server.  I can post the rpm if anyone needs it.

Regards

I am facing the same problem with Jabber. Did you find any way to resolve it?

I have big interest to integrate OX and Asterisk with SME, it will be grate if you can post the rpm.
