Perhaps you can try this : http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/index.html?frame=http%3A//sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/howtos/howto_30.htm

Although I don't know if it works on Pocket PC 2003, seems worth to try ?

Have you got any other ideas?

Since it seems to be an encryption pbl, you can try to change the encryption rate on your pda.
There is also encryption related patches from Microsoft (see http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=26523.msg108282#msg108282)
Perhaps you'll have to search in this direction.

Good Luck !
Title: Dell PDA having same problem
Post by: adampayne on April 04, 2006, 02:45:24 AM
Similar Problem - I can connect to the VPN (6.5) from a Windows XP Box (connected to a Wireless router for internet), but the PDA (connected to same router) has authentication issues. The settings in the PDA VPN are very limited. Thought of using other VPN clients out there rather than the VPN client that comes with the PDA by default - but would rather use the default as the latter usually attract a fee.
Is MS-CHAP turned on by default in SME?
