Title: printing blank pages

I have sme 6.01 and I have a HP laserjet IIIp running off of the servers lpt port.  I had the same problem with the printing system that came with the server, as well as the cups I've since installed (raw ports).  When I print from my XP boxes to the printer (default XP drivers for the IIIP), I get extra blank pages.

so if I were to print a 3 page document i would get on the print out:
page 1
blank page
page 2
blank page
page 3
blank page

the printer has been fine previous to using sme server (running on 2000 server before)

any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
