Hello Everybody,
Id like to run the gupta sql v.9, available for Redhat, on our SME V 6.01 instead of the MySQL. Theres a howto available for running postgresSQL instead of MySQL on the sme-server.
Can I follow this workaround step by step or are there any differences/difficulties?
For the first stage I need the gupta-database for our lawyers-application. Its a client-server system using the gupta-database.
For the second stage it would be nice (but not necessary), to have the gupta connected to php and the webserver. (LAGP instead of LAMP)
Any help appreciated ....
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Is it's the Gupta SQLBase 9.x for Linux that you talk about ?
I will try in a few weeks to make this integration... Presently I'm running Gupta SQLBase 8.1 on a Windows 2000 Server for the ERP/MRP Visual Manufacturing software... But I will try this soon...
I will let you know,
Thanks,
Snoopyski
