Title: No incoming WAN SMTP access
Post by: Michael Sidenius on October 17, 2001, 06:46:28 PM
Hi,
I cant get my SMTP server to answer on port 25 from the WAN (Internet) side.

I have set up my box as server and gateway (SME 5.0). Have ADSL + IP address (non-dynamic).

Ping, SSH, FTP, WWW and Web MAIL works fine from WAN side.

All LAN services works (I can mail inside my LAN and out on the WAN, but not reverse). From the console I can telnet to the WAN IP on port 25 and send "hand crafted" mails.

My ISP dont filter anything, they say.

So, how do I check my SMTP incoming server ?

TIA,
Michael
