Title: MP3 Blade question
Post by: GenDEM on October 18, 2001, 10:23:30 PM
Hi there

I just tried the MP3 iBay thing, looks sweet...however, in a local network with no real domain, the streaming doesn't work, becasue it's trying to stream from www.domainname.com, which doesn't exist.

Anyone know a way to make it stream from the name of the local host (in my case, testy)?

Thanks!

Hi GenDEM,

I had the same problem myself, i do not know if this is the right solution but it works in my case. (anyone with a other solution plase feel free to pich in)
I changed my server domain from mydomain to my local network adres (ip number server) and removed the www. from the httpd.conf file in /etc/httpd/config/
One problem though I'm not able to stream from the internet no more, but if your aim is to setup a intranet juke box for your local users this may do the trick.
