Does a hardware compatiblity list exist?
I need to know if stock 6.0.1-01 will work with a onboard Ultra3 U160 SCSI controller in a Dell Server.
If not, how to install 6.0.1-01 on newer hardware such as SATA?

Did you search here for hardware compatibility list?

Not much turns up with a search of contribs.org. I have googled this to death. I found many old hardware lists for RH 7.3, but they have not been updated to reflect hardware sold today. I only find reports of problems with PERC RAID. I will wait for replies/posts before removing SME server from my quote, giving MS another small business customer (I really want the customer to have the option to use linux and save $$$$).
Charlie,
Any chance 7.0a will be final by next week? Just kidding. The Dell SCSI controllers are fully compatible with RHEL 3.4 and 4.0.
