Hello everyone,
Here is my problem:
In order to have proper e-mail delivery I added a virtual domain containing my primary e-mail suffix popless-it.com.
In order to retrieve my e-mail from my hosting provider, I modified mail.popless-it.com to resolve to my providers POP3 server public IP address: works like a charm ...
However, when I rolled out the same solution to access the administration console of my provider (admin.popless-it.com), no go ! My provider must use HTTP headers to route HTTP requests: the header being replaced by the ip address specified in the server-manager console, I get another page altogether ...
Is there any way to tweak SME's DNS to specify a delegate DNS server for specific adresses ?
Thanks,
Yvick

Please take no notice of the problem above, I made a mistake ...
The question still stands though, for example:
Is it possible to specify an alias instead of an IP address in the host area of the server-manager ...
Thanks !

Yes it is, instead of creating a host entry for some ip, you could specify a cname record in your dns zone.
I'm not sure where tinydns keeps it's zones.. Or how you should/could edit those.
in the host area of the server-manager ...
Nope, but I guess you figured that out already
