to the community,
for those who do a typical manual installation of a source package with
./configure, make,make install some packages will tell you autoconf (autoconf-2.13-17.noarch.rpm) is too old and a newer version of autoconf is required.
So you might want to upgrade and use the rpm package autoconf-2.59-1.noarch.rpm with
md5sum: 0bfbb02a21e497382339fdb6c2d1530b.
Available at http://schwarzecker.homelinux.net/index.php in the section downloads, category SME, folder 6.0.1.
