I have searched here, google and the kronolith/Horde's mailing, FAQs and How-to without success.
I'm trying to find why I cannot add categories to Kronolith when creating the appointments.
The settings under /home/httpd/html/horde/kronolith/config/conf.conf points to sql, which should allow me to write and memorize. Unfortunatelly it isn't working
Kronolith events table does exist under SQL.
Anyone?

Are you using the Horde 3 framework? I did this, I went to Calendar, new event, typed a title, Under the category drop down box, chose new category, set everything else, then clicked save event and was prompted for my category name. My new categories show up under my calendar. I can click on the category icon and change my colors.
Is that what you want to do, and is that what you are doing? One thing I did find out when doing this. When I click on the categories I new window opens up, and when I save the settings I now have 2 sessions, so I had to refresh one of them to see the new category colors.

Thanks for the reply, I'm not on 3, but I noticed this link on one of your posts:

I'm willing to change if it makes sense!

I'll try this on a 2.x system tomorrow and see what I get. Can't really tell you if it makes sense to upgrade or not. I like the new version much better than 2.x. If you have a test box you could throw together, I'd highly recommend setting one up and testing. Cavaets, if/when you ever have to restore your system, you will wind back up with v2, and have to upgrade again. Ditto if/when you upgrade to 6.5. That is one of the casualities of using the unofficial updates.

I tried this as well on an horde 2.x system and even though the categories were saying there were being created, it would never save any of them as well. They all show up a non-filed. Don't know how to fix this as well.

I tried the 3.0 Framework and it's really nice, also works well when coming from 2 (using the script to upgrade). The only problem is when you try different languages, the translations aren't complete.
Thanks mrjhb3!
