I'm using SME Server 6.0.1-01, and have uploaded a couple of files to folder called 'reference' under the Primary/html folder.
One file is a 600KB PDF called gilberts_advert.pdf, and the other is a 40KB JPG file called gilberts_logo.jpg.
The folder has no index file, and I want it to show a listing of files available to view or download.
Only the PDF file shows in the mod_index listing, not the JPG file. I can see both of the files in the uploaded directory, using the FTP client to confirm they are present.
Also, if I type the full path and filename for the jpg file it displays in the browser, even if it won't display in the directory listing.
On another web site I manage, but don't host, running Apache 1.3, both files show in the (standard Apache) file list for the folder.
I've searched the Apache conf documentation, and can't see anything that would limit the file types listed, and I've searched the SME site for 'jpg index' and 'jpg directory' without finding anything relevant.
Can anyone please suggest where I should look to understand why this might be happening, and what to do to fix it?
Thanks if you can help.
John McC
