Title: how to setup recieved email from our webisite (lspr.edu)

:-(  :-( please help me...?

how to recieved pop3 account from our website (www.lspr.edu). Because i can't send and recieved email from outlook express or thunderbird(linux base) since i move my OS from win 2000 server to SME server. How to setup account in OE or thunderbird with this SME server.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "receive mail from our website" but you set up OE and Thunderbird the same way you would for win2k.

SMTP server is your new mail servers IP

POP3 server is also your new mail servers IP

If you need more help post back with a little more info on what you are trying to accomplish and what you are seeing.

I mean we are using SME server, but we didn't know how to download POP3 email from our webmail server which using redhat server. Please give us a clue how to set SME server so the email client (OE or thunderbird) can access webmail server using pop3.

This is flowchart of our system :

webmail server -> modem cable -> SME server -> hub switch - > client (OE or thunderbird).  :roll:  :roll:
