Title: Uploading web page using MS Frontpage 2002

Hello:

I am a new SME Server user.  I just installed SME Server 6.0.1-01., and I am not not sure how and where to publish my webpages using MS Frontpage 2002.  Please help me.  My url is www.unmc.game-server.cc

I think you can not ... Because the sme server does not have any Front Page server extensions. At least I have not met them yet. (But I did not look for them either.)

Well I think Microsoft has some free downloadable Frontpage server extensions for Linux, but I would guess you ask for a lot less problems if you find some alternative ways for download/filetransfer.

If you have "clear way" for ftp, it works pritty well wit drag and drop functionality to use IE Exploerer or some other web browser as ftp client.

Thanks for the info.  I am going to use Macromedia instead of Frontpage.  I still am unsure as to where the web page files and folders be uploaded to.  Please help me.   :hammer:

If you have a Windows PC on the same network - just push "Start" and "Network places" then you select "Microsoft Network" there you will finde our own workgroup, and if you using the default SME settings you will finde "Mitel-networks" click on that network you will see "Mitel Networks SME-Server"
click on that and you will find a "admin" folder and a "Primary" folder seleckt "Primary" her you will finde a "CGI-bin" , "Files" and a "html" folder - select the html folder. The html folder is your www root folder place your index.htm etc. etc. in this folder..
