Title: Newbie: how to config Apache / mysql Server

Ilike to use the SME-Server as my webserver, but how do I configure the Apache and mysql? Is there a Webmin interface to it with? Is there a way to install Webmin on the SME-Server?

Search on the forums for phpmyadmin - great tool for mysql administration, as it has a web interface. SME has apache and mysql built in, so not much needed there.

What is it that you want to be configuring ?

Don't install webmin as it is not compatible with the sme templating system. They clash with each other and changes you make with webmin will be overwritten by sme templating system.
Search on webmin here to read more about it.

Read the documents customisation section to learn about using custom templates.

The server manager GUI is where you can make many changes that ultinately effect "behind the scenes" config files.

Yes ok .. Iam just a little comfused  :-D  I have tryed to install a difrent programs on the webserver a photo gallery based on MySql it dont worked but it worked on a other PC. I´ve also tryed to set up a pop3 mail account - I dont worked .. Iam total newbie  :-D  I have to try some more..

apache and mysql are already configured.

What did you want to do with them that they don't already do? That will tell us how we should advise you as to how to change their configuration.
