what url is used to add a yum repository, to be able to recieve updates

or what is the best method to update or keep sme updated

I would like to know this too.
I configured yum to update from the ibiblio repository.
In installed yum-1.0.3-6.0.7.x.esmith.noarch.rpm from Pagefault.
But these have not been updated for a while.
