Hello,

Anything know if the IBM Tape Backup Tape Drive 80/160GB is supported?

is a VXA-2
part number: 59P6746

VXA-1 and VXA-2 (made by Excabyte) work fine with SME different versions. We use them mostly with TapeWare on many servers.

TapeWare is a freeware?

Tapeware is not free.  The workstation with disaster recovery is low price.  Many HP, Exabyte, Certance include Tapeware.  You need to download the latest version to get support for new tape drives
