Title: GeekLog install on SME 6.0.1 stalled half way thru install

I created an ibay named glg, placed items from public_html in the 'html' directory, placed all the other files and directories in the 'files' directory under  a directory named geeklog. Set chown to -R www:www and chmod to -R 777 * on all files and folders (shotgun effect). Set the path as /home/e-smith/ibays/files/glg/files/geeklog/ to get to config.php file and the URL set to http://www.domain.com/html/. The instal got to building 41 tables and then the  install stopped/stalled with no errors.

Has anyone gotten Geeklog to work in an ibay? I have spent days on this. I have installed postnuke and xoops in a few hours, maybe geeklog won't work in an ibay.

Open for suggestions.

Have you tried Charlie Bradys GeekLog-1.3.9 RPM install? It puts it into /opt/geeklog-1.3.9 then does some templates changes to make it web acessible.
