All,
sme-antivirus has been updated to 1.4.1 with the following new features:
- French language support (thank to Bruno Garin)
Big fixes:
- Clam Engine Update script will now also be checking for errors when running in the default download and warn admin mode.
- Default for Engine update is "download and warn) and text in the panel now reflect this.
Also notice that Clam has been updated to 0.85 a few days ago.
Enjoy,
Jesper

Will installs of your previous version automatically update? I know you mention on your site that this facility is available from the last version, not sure if it is working though as I got an out of date message from the scan this morning.
-
It will only auto install if you run 1.4.x versions - all earlier versions didn't have the autoupdate feature.
I case you run below 1.4.x then just go and run the script at:
[root@e-smith]# wget -N http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/downloads/AntiVirus/antivirus_install.sh
[root@e-smith]# sh antivirus_install.sh
Rgds,
Jesper

I have a question about the auto update feature. If I "download and warn", where are the files downloaded and what sould I do to install?
Is it safe to set the engine update to "download and install?
Thanks for the great stuff Knuddi.

charlien,
If in download mode you (admin) will get an email with install instructions. Whether its safe to do auto install is entirely up to your temper. I can see from stats that many seen to do but its entirely up to you. Remember that if I make mistakes then its nice to be doing the install by hand.

I've gotten an error email sent to admin with multiple copies of the following errors using Clamav 0.85:
LibClamAV Error: fileblobDestroy: file not saved: report to bugs@clamav.net LibClamAV Warning: TNEF - unknown level 15 tag 0x4d2c
LibClamAV Warning: Unknown VBA version signature 6c 0 0 1 LibClamAV Warning: Guessing little-endian
Warning: TNEF - unknown level 25 tag 0xc00 LibClamAV Warning: Ignoring empty field in " charset="

LibClamAV Warning: Unknown VBA version signature 6c 0 0 1 LibClamAV Warning: Guessing little-endian
I've been getting this same message with every scan for the last month or more, a few updates ago anyway, still have not been able to work it out. Since this latest update I am now getting blank emails for the scan results, seems to be working fine other than the email notification, but it would seem there are still some bugs that need ironing out.

I hope I am not off topic here. On my 6.5 test system running Jesper's module and clamav 0.85, I am receiving an email from Cron Deamon;
Subject line is: Cron <root@mail> /etc/clamscan.
Message is: LibClamAV Warning: TNEF body not being scanned - report to bugs@clamav.net
Not sure what it is about...The message has only started to come over the past few days. Before this, I did not receive any email warning on this subject.
