Title: Security, lock users in their own home dir
Post by: jriemens on May 15, 2005, 03:18:50 PM
How do I lock users in their home directory? (without them being able to see all the other underlying directories?)

TIA

Jaap.

Hey Jaap,
I think this is what you are looking for:
http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/wiki.contribs.org/ftp_chroot/dungog-proftpd-chroot-0.1-2.noarch.rpm
If you are trying to lock the user via ftp into their $home dir/?
Hope it helps!
Joe

yes I am! (trying to lock FTP users into their personal home dir.) Next to that I want to create a few dir's for file download but I think I can do that with i-bay dirs...

Thanks!
