Title: Damaged ssl certificate
Post by: pboucher on May 18, 2005, 01:42:27 AM
Hi!

I played with SSL cert while ago and then i did the sme updates.

The problem now, i can't open SSH connection (connection refused)  or access to webmail (invalid password).

Since i can't go onsite often i was thinking of doing a backup here do the corrections on another machine and by using the restore function put back on the server only the replaced files.

The server-manager and vpn work fine like the rest of the other functions.

Does it make sense or anybody have a better idea?

sme server 6.0.1

Regards

SSL certificates don't have anything to do with SSH, or with password validation in webmail.

This is fixed by simply deleting your stored certificate with Firefox.  The problem shouldn't occur with IE.

Mentioned in the last post here too:
