By pesky bad luck the private IP range of a network to which it'd be useful to have OpenVPN access is 192.168.100.X, and if possible I'd like to leave it that way. I've poked around a bit but am apparently too stupid to find everywhere to change OpenVPN's IP range assignment. Could some kind soul enlighten me?

You can have whatever range you want, as long as you have created it on the local networks. You need to modify /etc/openvpn/server.conf and /etc/openvpn/openvpn.up.

Thanks, I'll give it another shot and report back.
