I have an sme 5.6 vers with spamassassin and the USA contrib. Yesterday (Sunday) I found that the spamassassin doesnt work anymore, and the system sent me the following email:
/etc/cron.daily/run_usa:
Shutting down spamd: [ OK ]
Starting spamd: ERROR! spamassassin script is v3.000003, but using modules v2.64!
[ FAILED ]
warning: /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf created as /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf.rpmnew
Stopping crond: [ OK ]
Starting crond: [ OK ]
Shutting down spamd: [ FAILED ]
Starting spamd: Required module Storable not found!
[ FAILED ]
I think that the usa script makes a mistake updating the spam rpms. Somebody please knows how to restore to the original condition?
Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure exactly what USA rules are, but upgrading spamassassin to 3.03 is something you should do without a doubt. There are redhat 7.3 rpms of 3.03, its well worth upgrading, even as a default install it already catches more spam.

Nick,
Thanks for your replay. As I know (my be I am wrong) there should be some issues about upgrade the spammassassin vers in SME 5.6. The new SA versions for sme only work on sme => 6.0
