Hi All
I'd like to be able to share a common addressbook across my network. Basically I'd like all my PC's to be able to see, add and edit a common addressbook.
Is this possible to do using SME Server 6.0.1 and it's builtin LDAP? The addressbook would mostly be fulled with external e-mail addresses.
The e-mail clients being used are a mixture of Outlook Express, Outlook 2000 / XP and 2003).
I'm not to worried if Outlook Express doesn't work, but I would like the full versions of Outlook to work.
Thanks

There is a contrib available for this which I would recommend to search for and to try. I believe the author is still active in these forums.

I have been installed and tested OK at our platform (SME 6.01). Please search "LDAP Global address book" to find out how to install it. Take a lot of steps.....
It involves a lot of Perl programs installation and conf file modification, but I am still experience the following problems :-
a) Maintain Global Address Book at Server Manager
b) how to mport ldif from other domain / outlook contact
Anyone can advise ?
