Title: VPN, only ping/access the SME server?

So I setup a VPN connection so that I could remotely access my server and the computers on the network.  Well i connected first try to the SME server and was very happy, but come to find out I cannot see any of the other machines on the network, only the SME server.  I have tried accessing them by //share as well as pinging the server by IP address and I get nothing.  The gateway for the network is an external router, is there any way to specify that as the gateway? or will that not fix my problem.  Thanks.

so after some testing I have figured out that the VPN works beautifully when connecting from a windows 2000 machine, but does not work when connecting from a XP machine.  The 2000 machine picks up the correct gateway and everything works, but the two XP machines i have tried both try to use their own IP address as the gateway, any ideas what i need to fix on these XP boxes?
