Title: No go - sme-antivirus package and dunog.net web filter
Post by: GetRighT on May 31, 2005, 01:55:58 PM
I need to update the clamav but Jesper's install script complains over several dependencies on dunog.net packages when it tries to uninstall the old clamav. So im looking at a manual -e on all the packages that has dependencies. Thus a total reconfiguration af the web filter is needed which is very annoying...

any suggestions?

Check back with dunog.net, updates where done over the weekend.  I was positive that this was addressed but I couldn't find it with a quick perusal just now.  Maybe I am crazy :-x

Good luck

You should only need to manually uninstall (rpm -e) 2 rpms: clamav-es and clamav-es-libs.
After that you should be able to run Jesper's update scripts without problem. No need to reconfigure Dan's Guardian settings after that.
It's not ideal but that way works well for us.
