Title: SMTP: Destination v Virtual domains
Post by: bluepolo on June 01, 2005, 11:26:46 AM
Hi. I've looked hi and low for an answer to this, but can't find one.

Basically what are the differences?

It would seem to me that it must be to do with how users are handled. ie if I have a user 'fred' and _destination_ domains dom1.com, dom2.com etc, then fred will get email for all those domains.

I have tested this, and this seems to be the case.

However, if I have virtual domain virtdom.com, and a user barney _is not_ assigned for that virtual domain, then barney does not get email for virtdom.com?

Is there anything I'm missing?

Thanks!

BP
