the daily cronjob of clamscan on one of my servers runs forever, eating up all the memory. The only way i can stop it is: kill -9 <procid>
I've tried uninstalling a few parts of clamav and reinstalling them but it still doesn't stop. Any ideas?

This was caused by a looping email. The email forward was a procmail rule on one of the users. The forward address was inactive causing continuous bounce messages back to the account on the sme.
Once I cleaned up the bounce mess, clamav has been behaving.
