hi,

what are the differences between:
e-smith-phpmyadmin-0.2-3.src.rpm > and the phpMyAdmin 2.2.1 ???

does the e-smith rpm support cvs im/export?
to which version its similar to the standard phpmyadmin?

Hi,

The version 2.2.1 is a big change to the version in this RPM you mentioned... I installed it and had to adjust a lot myself because of all these changes. BUT it was worth it I think.

my question:
why installing the e-smith rpm???
are there security reasons/bugs, whatever????

otherwhise i keep my 2.2.1-like it too!

Alex,

I can't think up any security risks in this way of installing.

To make really sure you could try to look inside the RPM and find out what the installation exactly does.
