Need to upgrade the clamav engine, is there an rpm I can use rather than running a script.

No, Jesper's script is the best thing going. It should download and install any needed RPM's to get clam current.

Thanks for the reply
currently running clamav-es-0.84
upgraded using: clamav-es-0.84-es01.i386.rpm
I assume the new version is 0.85
this server is on a lan in a wan and is not allowed out :( so no script to upgrade just packages.

you can look here:
http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/swerts-knudsen/AntiVirus/
But be warned. These are the files that Jesper uses for his antivirus install script. I would take a good hard look at the script before just installing the clam rpms. There are probably dependencies.
The script is located here:

Hello,
Does anyone know if there is an update to this script for V7rc2? I'm trying to find a way to upgrade my AV engine to the latest release.
Thank you!

Yes. It's a built-in standard feature.
I'm trying to find a way to upgrade my AV engine to the latest release.
The warning message says "DON'T PANIC". Updates will arrive when they have been packaged and tested. Urgent updates will be released urgently.
Use the bug tracker if you think an update is urgent and you don't see it available.

And, in fact, the clamav updates were packaged before you even asked.

I really didn't ask because I was panicing. I just liked the look of this script more than the one in rc2... it has quite a few more features. But thank you for the reply.
