Title: sme 6.5 wont boot badly need help

hi,

my 6.5 wont boot anymore here here is the problem:

vfs: can't find ext3 filesystem on dev ide0 (3,3)
mount: error 22 mounting ext3
pivotroot: pivot_root (/sysinit,/sysroot/initrd) failed:2


any one can help me please...

Easiest is probably to reload SME, and then restore from the backup you have!

i tried mounting the drive to winxp but said that the partition is unformated anyway for me to access the drive?

please.

May be you could try to boot up your system with a Live CD distro like Knoppix and see whether or not you can access your harddrive.

Try http://www.sysresccd.org/. Hope for you that the drive is not toasted.
